Over the past 12-18 months, we’ve worked hard to educate
our sellers about the slowing market, and the need to price
property at a level acceptable to buyers. As reported
in the August Land Rush OnLine!, we’ve succeeded!
In that last issue, we explained that
the average ASKING price for parcels listed with all other
companies - over 50 acres in Ashe, Watauga, Wilkes & Avery counties – was $17,754
per acre in July. At the same time, we told you the average
asking price of property listed with Mountain Land Company
was $7,122 per acre – a whopping 59.89% less than our
competition.
If you’re serious about making a purchase, do you want
to pay a hyper-inflated price, or a price that reflects reality? We
think we know the answer to that one, which leaves just one
question to be answered. What are you waiting for?
