The Leaves Are
Leaving!
Plan a trip to the mountains in October, and you
can see one of North Carolina’s most beautiful offerings –
the changing of color! It’s a spectacular sight!
If you’re planning to buy land in the mountains,
it’s also the perfect time to drive the back roads looking
at available properties. As the leaves fall, the views begin to
open up. Because our mountains are so heavily wooded, it is often
very difficult to see the views offered by properties for sale.
The leaves obstruct the view. From October through March, however,
you can get a much better idea what views are available on each
property.
Is it necessary to make an appointment to see available
properties during leaf season? Not really. We offer an easy way
to see our properties – called “FREE LOOK!” All
of our properties with frontage on a state maintained road are clearly
marked and easy to find. We place a bright orange ribbon on a tree
and a For Sale sign at the beginning and end of the road frontage
on each “FREE LOOK!” property. Our brochures have exact
driving directions (and topo maps) to each property. So, just follow
the driving directions, and watch for our signs when you arrive.
