Our company is about land – ONLY land! We don’t sell homes, nor do we sell shopping centers. We sell only the very largest land tracts our mountains have to offer.

We’re local! We live and work in the heart of our nine-county market, right on U.S. Highway 421 between Boone and Wilkesboro.

We’re experienced! We’ve been selling land for 40 years. We’re also stewards of our own personal land parcels – so we appreciate what it means to be a landowner.

Paul Christian Breden
Paul is no stranger to land! Licensed as a broker since 1970, his experience includes not only the sale of large land parcels, but also the training of thousands of other brokers in the fine art of real estate marketing.

Paul has held professional REALTOR® designations, was founding president of a local REALTOR® Board, and served as Governor and Senior Instructor for the nationally recognized RS Council, teaching brokers nationwide.

Paul lives and works in “Ghost Valley” – his 410 acre mountain valley. As comfortable in hiking boots and plaid shirt as he is doing a high-tech computer land search, Paul is affectionately known as “Land’s Best Friend”. He offers a willing ear, an arm-load of real estate wisdom, and a history of results.

Chris Breden
Chris comes to Mountain Land Company with a broad range of training and work experience. He became a licensed broker in 2005, and specializes in marketing and sales of large tracts of mountain property. Chris is an all-weather land broker, and prospective buyers can expect to be shown property “rain or shine”. Whether you enjoy hiking over a large tract of land, or prefer riding trails on our comfortable 4X4 Polaris Ranger utility vehicle, Chris is familiar with all properties listed with Mountain Land Company.
