Mountain Land Company actively seeks tracts of land to offer Buyers a broad selection of desirable properties for sale. We are constantly adding new parcels to our inventory for the counties we serve. Some counties consistently offer a rich inventory of large tracts, such as Wilkes County, because of the sheer number of available tracts. Other counties, like Avery and Alleghany, notoriously yield a small number of available tracts for sale at any given time. Here you’ll find the right blend when in comes to finding mountain land for sale in different counties, and different size & price ranges!
Many property prices in our inventory have been reduced by Sellers. Over the last 3 years we’ve seen a reduction in land asking prices in our market area. The extent of the reduction in asking prices varies from county to county and from property to property depending on any number of factors. Here you’ll find a broad variety of mountain land properties that have been reduced anywhere from a small amount to under half the original asking price in some cases. This is a great opportunity for landbuyers to find the bargains they’ve been waiting for. Don’t wait for prices to start going up before deciding to buy -Remember: Buy Low, not High!
Often Buyers ask, “Are the sellers motivated?”. Now Buyers won’t have to wonder. In this section, Buyers will find properties where Sellers have authorized us to say that “Sellers are motivated!”. Don’t miss an opportunity for a great deal. Let us assist you in finding the tract of land that is right for you.
Broker Owned Properties
Like other land investors, Mountain Land Company brokers Paul and Chris from time to time buy and sell land. Why buy broker owned property? Paul and Chris are easy to work with, and offer attractive terms, including possible Seller Financing.
Bank Owned Properties
From time to time we offer bank owned properties. Land tracts listed in this category are often priced very fairly in relation to current average market prices for the county they are located. An advantage of buying a bank owned property is that many times the same bank will handle the financing for you. All that’s required from prospective Buyers is solid financials!
Here you’ll find properties that are currently under contract. If you see a property you may be interested in purchasing that is under contract, just let one of our brokers know to put your name in the file should the contract fall through, and the property becomes available once again.
For your reference, we list some properties in this section that have recently been sold.
